DESIGNING YOUR KEEPSAKE

We know picking out stone design choices can be overwhelming sometimes, so we hope this page is helpful!

Step 1: Select a base color.

Think of this opaque layer like a background color for your stone. If you want the ashes, hair, or fur hidden, they will be added to this opaque layer.

Step 2: Select opals and/or add-ins.

These additions are optional. Generally, choosing more than 3 can make stone looks somewhat busy and take focus away from the ashes, hair or fur on display. We suggest no more than 3, but we are happy to incorporate more if you wish.

Helpful Tips:

It might be helpful to understand how the stones are built when deciding on colors and combinations. Stones are built in layers. Please see the graphic below to explain those layers.

If Sending Hair or Fur:

Light and light to medium color fine hair or fur can become somewhat transparent when inside the stone. To help you decide on a base color that will allow your hair or fur to show best, we have made these following examples with both light and dark hair against most background colors.
